TRAVEL domain is an international top-level domain for websites of travel companies.

Recommendations
TRAVEL domain is provided for travel agencies, travel operators, airlines, hotel networks and everyone related to travel, touring and leisure industry. This new domain is aimed to create a single travel industry in the Internet in one domain zone.

Limitations
TRAVEL industrial domains may be registered only by organizations having provided documentary evidence of their relation to travel industry, which ensures that such company is actually authorized for travel activities. This domain is not provided for personal travel websites.

In order to register a domain name, your company should have a Unique Identification Number. You are required to complete the following UIN obtaining procedure:

You will receive an e-mail with information in English that your company is being verified for relation to travel industry. If all information submitted was adequate, you will receive a notification that your company has been assigned a UIN approximately in one day. Sometimes you may be requested to provide some additional information on your organization.

ATTENTION! A domain name may be used only for websites related to this industry. TRAVEL domain administration is entitled to check the subject of website contents and if such contents do not comply with the requirements of this zone, its administration may delete your domain.
If within 60 days upon domain registration its subject is not changed to a relevant one, such domain may be deleted by domain zone administration

Domain names coinciding with names of countries may not be registered in TRAVEL domain zone. For example, such domain names as russia.travel, ukraine.travel etc may not be registered.

Transfer
Domains in TRAVEL zone may be transferred for service from another registrar with domain renewal for one more year.
Prior to domain transfer request, obtain an Authorization Code from your current registrar. Usually, a domain is transferred for service to a new registrar in 5-7 days upon start of domain transfer process.

If an incorrect e-mail address is specified in WHOIS, ask your current registrar to correct your e-mail address specified in your domain details prior to your domain transfer request. In some cases, requests to confirm your intention to transfer your domain to a new registrar may be sent to your e-mail specified in WHOIS. If such e-mails are not confirmed, your domain transfer request will be declined.
